Why The Upside

Fiskars needed a consolidated plan on how they would drive ecommerce and digital opportunities across their brand portfolio over the next 5 years. They worked with The Upside in order to arrive at a clear and actionable roadmap that could inspire different sides of the business about the future potential.

How We Approached the Challenge

  • We mapped all existing digital initiatives globally across their portfolio of brands, and suggested how efforts could be harmonised and amplified
  • We identified investment needs and revenue projections for next 5 years, based on the ambitions of each business
  • We put forward 5 specific areas of innovation for a Digital Innovation Lab to oversee

Impact

Kickstart of a number of innovative initiatives such as the use of 3D modelling & AR, the introduction of a circular economy initiative and a rental model.
